At Nexspace Studio, we believe thoughtful design has the power to shape the way we experience the world. Every space influences how we live, work, gather, and connect—often in ways we don't consciously notice.
Our philosophy towards work, --Function Follows Feel, begins with understanding how a space should feel before defining how it should function and how it should look. We believe when people feel comfortable, connected, within an environment which is intuitive, balanced, and meaningful, it naturally supports the way life unfolds within it and function follows naturally.
Every project has its purpose, context, and aspirations. We approach design as a balance of strategy, creativity, and craftsmanship, considering architecture, interiors, materiality, light, and spatial experience as one cohesive whole. Rather than following trends, we with you, craft a design that embodies your distinct style and requirements with clarity, character, and relevance.
MEET NJ
Over two decades of practice, she has worked across residential, hospitality, institutional, and mixed-use projects, contributing to spaces of varied scale and complexity.
Graduated from Sir J.J. College of Architecture, Mumbai, and engaged through professional affiliations such as ANFA, my practice has been further shaped by continued learning in sustainable design, including IGBC LEED AP study and workshops with Auroville Green Practice, Auroville Earth Institute, and Green School Bali.
Over the course of her career, she has worked on residential, commercial, hospitality, institutional, and master-planning projects alongside some of the country's leading design practices-Architect Hafeez Contractor, Talati & Partners, she has also contributed to projects in collaboration with leading architectural practices including Sanjay Puri Architects, Khosla+Anand- Ar. Sandeep Khosla and Habitat Architects- Ar. Zafar Chaudhary.
While every project differed in scale and purpose, one question remained constant: How should this space make people feel?
These experiences deepened my understanding of design and led to the founding of Nexspace Studio in 2021. Since then, she has approached the practice through the lens of spatial psychology and evidence-based design, creating spaces that are shaped by how people perceive, move through, and experience them.
